If President Bush Told The Truth

He would include the following tonight in his acceptance speech:

.I attacked and took over 2 countries.

.I spent the U.S. surplus and bankrupted the US
Treasury.

.I shattered the record for the biggest annual
deficit in history (not easy!).

.I set an economic record for the most personal
bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period.

.I set all-time record for the biggest drop in
the history of the stock market.

.In my first year in office I set the all-time
record for most days on vacation by any president
in US history (tough to beat my dad's, but I
did).

.After taking the entire month of August off for
vacation, I presided over the worst security
failure in US history.

.I set the record for most campaign fund raising
trips by any president in US history.

.In my first two years in office over 2 million
Americans lost their jobs.

.I cut unemployment benefits for more out-of-work
Americans than any other president in US history.


.I set the all-time record for most real estate
foreclosures in a 12-month period.

.I set the record for the fewest press
conferences of any president, since the advent of
TV.

.I presided over the biggest energy crises in US
history and refused to intervene when corruption
was revealed.

.I cut health care benefits for war veterans.

.I set the all-time record for most people
worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets
to protest me (15 million people), shattering the
record for protest against any person in the
history of mankind.

.I dissolved more international treaties than any
president in US history.

.I've made my presidency the most secretive and
unaccountable of any in US history.

VP) attended regarding public energy policy are
sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public
review.

wow... that is an amazing list. I can't believe anyone who knows these facts could ever vote for him.

Yeah, many of these "facts" are mighty misleading. Such as:

- "I attacked and took over 2 countries."
Both have been turned back over to their citizens.

- "I spent the U.S. surplus and bankrupted the US
Treasury."
Much of the "surplus" was projected. When economic growth failed to outpace the growth of government spending and entitlement programs, the deficit increased.

- "I set an economic record for the most personal
bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period."
Within three months after 9/11, one million jobs were lost.

- ".After taking the entire month of August off for
vacation, I presided over the worst security
failure in US history."
You can thank your democrat friends Torriceli & Kerry for gutting intelligence. Also Jamie Gorelick for building the wall between intelligence and law enforcement so they couldn't share information. I hope protecting Clinton and his Chinese Campaign doners were worth it. And ironically enough, she was on the 9/11 commission!!!

In reality, 2.4 million jobs were created under Bush. The poll that the Democrats keep refering to doesn't include those that are self employed or employed by small businesses.

Are you refering to high gas prices? The gas prices are high because of supply and demand. No new refineries have been built in over 20 years, plus there has been increased world demand. Hardly Bush's fault.

Another factor in this was the economic downturn that began in March 2000, plus the fact that the Y2K inspired tech bubble burst. Don't need throngs of Y2K programmers after Y2K now, do we?

Funny how the report was in 14 point Times Roman print. I didn't know those old IBM typewriters had those kind of font selection.

We have a constitution for a reason. And the UN is irrelevant. It was supposed to be a forum where nations of the world could talk, NOT be a world government.
