What cracks me up is that my pictures are miraculous. Perhaps there will be shrines to Nakedjen in Poland the next time I visit? I should ask my friend Aleks about this, she's Polish. Maybe she can enlighten me?
In other more important news we did not "win" the house. However, the house was not even awarded. When I learned that very important piece of news, I felt much better. I knew that the power of the fans of Nakedjen could NOT have been denied, so I was mighty perplexed when I learned on Sunday morning that we didn't win. Upon further investigation, though, I discovered that the school had not actually sold enough tickets for their raffle and decided to not reward the house (this felt wrong to me...if you're going to raffle a house, you should RAFFLE A HOUSE), but instead split the proceeds of all the ticket sales with the winner.
We were not the winner, but we were focused on winning the HOUSE. Not money. It was the house that we wanted. We were very clear about that right from the very beginning. That we wanted the house. So since there wasn't a house to win, we did not win. End of story.
Thank you, though, each and every single one of you, who kegeled and vibed and sent all those amazing good wishes our way. I do believe the Universe has something even more grand in store for us. I kept telling DearSweetDave (who has a hard time sometimes believing!) that this didn't mean we were losers. It just meant that something even better was on our horizon. That in a few months we were going to look at one another and go, "Oh wow, thank goddess we didn't get that house, because this would never have been possible!"
So onward to the grand and amazing possibilities! Including being a porn star in Poland!
