There, just at the end of those two leashes, lies my heart. Cleaved so gently in two. Beating gently on eight paws. Diamonds of large snowflakes glittering on their backs. Large, puffy clouds of dog breath remind me on this very cold Utah morning that we are all, truly, gloriously alive.

looks like very early am.. normal people have eyes shut at that time!

Perhaps it's just the season, but with that red background they look more like fallen angels than the angels I know they are.
